Bead Soup Blog Party - a big reveal!

So, here it is! My contribution to the Bead Soup:)
The main piece is a nacklace. To the beads Kristina sent me (you can see them here), I added black metal chain, satin ribbon and czech glass beads.

Here's a closer look:

I got enough beads to make another creation - a bracelet.
I used all the blue luster farfalles and erinite green fire-polished czech glass. Added black metal chain, cream drops and pink czech glass bead. To clasp a bracelet I used vintage glass button.

And to end with - earrings.
And another look:
Thank you Kristina for mix you sent me. It was a pleasant challenge for me to work with beads I've never used before.
And last but not least, a HUGE thank you to Lori Anderson for organised a wonderful international party!

  1. I love the colors and shapes of beads you added to your soup. The pink and cream really set off the other colors beautifully.

  2. Great job! I really like the colors and texture. You have created a beautiful jewelry set.

  3. I too like the splashes of color in the black necklace and I love the clasp design. The bracelet with a hint of spring, wonderful.

  4. hey gorgeous, fab creations!!

    have a great weekend...

    hello gorgeous xxx

  5. Ett riktigt snyggt set! :D

What a great job you made using my rather ecclectic mix of different bead shapes. Splashes of chips, drops, long magatamas, farfalles -- I sure didn't make it easy for you! And very nice, the way you added hints of other colours to the bead soup. Like hints of spring, as someone mentioned above.

And thank you again for the beads you sent me. (I have a nagging feeling I forgot so say that in my blog post...)

  6. Black is sooooooo dramatic but you made it striking and moody with your artistic talent! I really like how you blended the different textures of beads into beautiful works of art!

  7. I love the soft, romantic feel to your creations. I love, love, love your bracelet! Wonderful use of different elements in all your jewelry!

  8. The black gives these pieces a very romantic feel. You've added just enough colour!

  9. I love the focal and how it looks black but then in the light you can see the etching!!
