Welcome to the 4rd Bead Soup Blog Party!
Here are six(!) pieces I made from beads
Courtney sent me:
First one is the necklace with clasp, focal and yellow/green faceted stones I got from my partner. I added fresh water pearls, metal chain, cotton lace and two scrapbooking paper cupidos on each side of the focal.
Necklace is simple, but elegant.
Then I made earings from beautiful lampwork beads. I added swarovski crystals in cyclamen opal color, olive czech glass beads and antique brass bronze chain.
And now the bracelet. It's actually the first one piece I made;) Lampwork beads are from Courtney and from my own stash are: red seeds, turquoise cube and copper rings. Butterfly charm is ceramic and wood hook is from
Popcorn Tree.
Another set of two bracelets. Courtney sent me those wonderful vintage glass buttons and whole strand of blue lampwork rounds. I just fixed it all together making beaded wrap bracelets using waxed cotton cord.
Another beautiful white/blue lampwork bead I used as a closure in popular wrap bracelets. They're made of leather and cotton cord and ball chain.
And the last one wrap bracelet with vintage glass button from Courtney and seed beads, green leather and yellow cotton cords.
I am very satisfied with the results. I got so many beads from
Courtney for the future creations:) Thank you Courtney so much for our swap!
And a BIG thank you to
Lori Anderson for incredible organisation! She was able to put together 362 people (the list of participants is
here) from 21 countries (you can see the map
here). And everybody makes jewelery! That's amazing!
See you next time in February!
