Fairy Tale / Spring Bead Swap

Welcome to the completely new Bead Swap with Fairy tale/Spring theme!

Lori Anderson, who came up with the great idea of another bead swap, paired me up with Norma Turvey from moonlitfantaseas.blogspot.com
Norma sent me the most floral/spring coloured package of beautiful beads. I got lucite and glass flowers, crystals, a dragonfly, a frog and a butterfly charms.

I decided to make two necklaces.

I started with tiny glass bottle, filled with dried flowers from my wedding bouquet...

...then added some sparklies and glass and lucite flowers from Norma...

...copper chain and cotton lace...

...and created romantic necklace in pastel colours.

Another nacklace i wanted to dangle just a little bit more;)

I've chosen a frog, glass leaf, glass bottle with some hidden beads inside, decorated with lucite flowers and crystals...

...to add more forest look, I picked oak tree wood hook from Popcorn Tree...

...and little romantic touch with cotton lace..

...and came up with a necklace in adjusted length.

Thank you Norma for the beads I received. I love them all!
Lori, you are the best! Thank you for hosting this bead swap. It was great!

  1. Your necklace is so sweet and romantic! Using flowers from your wedding just adds to the romance and you have a keepsake of a beautiful memory of your life! Love your second necklace, too. It is different, and I like that!

  2. What lovely romantic necklaces you made. I really like the addition of the little wooden piece and also the how you made the necklace adjustable with it, nice and soft on the neck, too. Very pretty.
